
AIYEDATIWA’S SPECIAL ASSISTANTS IN AKURE SOUTH LG EXPRESS HOPE OF MORE INFRASTRUCTURAL INTERVENTION IN ONDO
The Forum of Special Assistants to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa In Akure South local government area has continued to reflect on the effect of the “Our Ease” agenda in the council area.
A statement by the forus says the approach of the Governor has continued to rekindle the hope of citizens in democratic institution.
While highlighting the various achievements of the the Governor, Forum of Special Assistants to the Governor in Akure South local government said the implementation of the ”Our Ease” mantra in the council area, especially in the area of infrastructural interventions in the capital city has continued to attract commendations.
According to the statement jointly signed by the Coordinator, Hon. Bosun Ogunleye, the Secretary, Hon. Tony Ogunmodede as well as the Financial Secretary, Adeola Fynch who served as Special Assistant and eventually appointed as Secretary to Akure South local government, the infrastructural intervention keeps hope alive in democracy.
“Roads given attention include asphalt overlay of Temidire- Oshinle- Ayegunle Street, Odopetu-Oke Padre- Lao Road, ECOBANK Oke Arata-Iro road, Ayelabola Street, St. Thomas-Odole road, Gbangbalogun-Odole-Odi-Olowo road and Parliament Estate road”.
“Others are Kajola-Davog road, Owe Akala-Oshinle-Oke-Aro-Agunloye, By-Pass- Gbogi Street and many others”.
“Work has also commenced on the recently flagged off Akure-Idanre road dualisation as removal of structures and expansion of the road have commenced”.
“As part of the efforts to give the state capital a facelift and improve transportation, work is at advanced stages on the Onyearugbulem Flyover on Akure-Ilesa expressway”.
“In the same vein, the Oda road and Ijoka road dualisation project are being given attention as Governor assures residents of timely completion of the projects”.
“Similarly in Akure South local government area, work is progressing as scheduled on the Akeredolu Judiciary Complex as Governor Aiyedatiwa assures would be delivered as promised”.
“It also gladdens our heart that a good number of women benefitted from the 35 thousand naira grant to over 1,000 women in the state”.
“Just recently, Akure South local government benefited from distribution of fire fighting equipment towards ensuring prompt response when emergency occurs”.
The Forum of Special Assistants to Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa maintained that the 100 days of the governor in office gives hope and assurance that more developmental projects would be achieved in the next four years.
