EKITI GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION: APC LEADER DELE PHILIPS WINS UNIT FOR BIODUN OYEBANJI
A leader of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Dele Philips has won his unit for the All Progressives Congress candidate Biodun Oyebanji in the Governorship election.
The poll attracted an enthusiastic electorate in the area with determination to ensure victory for the party and its candidate.
The poll at ward 02, unit 12 in Aramoko in Ekiti West local government area was not only peaceful but also an opportunity for the voters to exercise their civic responsibility.
At the end of the exercise, the All Progressives Congress candidate, Biodun Oyebanji polled 363 votes while the ADC candidate got 4 votes.
The People’s Democratic Party candidate, Dare Bejide also got 4 votes.
Speaking with newsmen, the Aramoko-Ekiti-born politician and former house of representatives aspirant for Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 comprising Ekiti West, Efon and Ijero local government areas said the outcome of the election in the area is a display of trust and love for the incumbent, Biodun Oyebanji.
Similarly, a member of the board of Dele Philips Foundation, Idowu Philips who also cast his vote in the unit expressed happiness that the people of the area sustained their belief and interest in the Oyebanji leadership.
