

Party leaders as well as delegates from Ward 7, Ipole-Iloro in Ekiti West local government area have endorsed the candidature of Mr. Dele Philips for the Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 2 seat at the National Assembly.
Mr. Dele Philips is a leading contestant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the constituency 2 seat comprising Ekiti West, Efon and Ijero local government areas of the state.
The party leaders who spoke at a meeting held in Ipole-Iloro Ekiti on Sunday said they decided to align with a public opinion, more so that they have also witnessed the immense contributions of Mr. Dele Philips to individual lives as well as communities in general.
Speaking on behalf of the delegates, Hon. T.A. Suluka made reference to the impacts of the international business mogul on the growth of the APC in the town and even at the local government level.
Hon. Suluka assured that all hands would be on deck to work towards Mr. Dele Philips’ victory at the primary elections while they would not relent when the general election eventually holds in 2023.
In his response, the aspirant, Mr. Dele Philips assured that the delegates and the party leaders would never regret their decision as plans are underway to improve on all the interventionist programmes being carried out when he emerges their representative at the National Assembly.
Philips used the opportunity to emphasize the need to also work towards the victory of the candidate of APC, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
In his words, “I want all of you to also join hands together to mobilise our people for the candidate of our party in the coming governoship election. You will agree with me that the candidate has the required knowledge and experience to continue with the good works of our Governor, Kayode Fayemi”.
The reps hopeful stated that the BAO Campaign Committee in Ekiti West local government area has swung into action which he emphasized should be complemented by all party leaders and members in the area.
