FIRE GUTS INEC OFFICE, DESTROYS ALL VALUABLES

A fire outbreak has reportedly burnt to ashes the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kaura Namoda Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

An eye wetness said, the incident began at about 9:00pm and no one could tell about the reasons of the fire outbreak.

“we quickly called Fire service but unfortunately they have only one truck for the whole Kaura Namoda which can’t quench the fire, a situation that led to the destruction of all the valuables in the office”. He lamented

Non of the INEC officials was available for comment on the incident as the time of filing this report.
