Olabimtan, in his congratulatory message, expressed his delight that Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde is celebrating his platinum jubilee in good health.
He said Abegunde deserves all the accolades and attention he is getting on his 70th birthday because of his selflessness.
The statement read in parts. “Reaching the age of 70 is no small feat; it’s a major milestone, for which Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde truly deserves to be celebrated. Your sacrifice, commitment, and dedication to the development of Akure, Ondo State, and Nigeria have not gone unnoticed.
“I am, therefore, not surprised that the Deji and Paramount Ruler of Akure kingdom decided to honour you with the worthy title of Asiwaju of Akure.
“Your rich tapestry of engineering prowess, architectural brilliance, and dedicated public service stands you out. Your commitment to the public good is also worthy of emulation. I congratulate you on your journey so far.”

“It has been a privilege to know and work with you, and I am grateful for your sacrifices and the good aura you always exude.”
