OLUTE STOOL: OJOMO FAMILY INSISTS ALABA ADEDOYIN REMAINS WARRANT CHIEF FOR MONARCH’S SELECTION
…Distances Self From Appointment Of Solomon Adewakun In Such Capacity
The Ojomo family of Ute in Ose local government area has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Alaba Adedoyin as the warrant chief representing the Ojomo family.
This is in preparatory to the selection of the next Olute of Ute in Ose local government area.
In a letter written to the Ondo State Government by the Counsel to the Ojomo family, Chief Olusola Ebiseeni, dated 9th of September, 2025,,the Ojomo family of Ute land reconfirmed the appointment of Mr. Alaba Adedoyin as the warrant chief appointed to represent the Ojomo family in the absence of a substantive Chief Ojomo.
The family stated that Mr. Solomon Ojomo Adewakun who is allegedly parading himself as the Chief Ojomo of Ute was not installed by the Olute but by Chief Osuma that is not vested with such powers.
In an affidavit by the Secretary to the Ojomo family, Chief Samuel Oshanye, dated 30th of September, 2035, the family completely dissociated and distanced itself from an alleged fake letter written on the 23rd of September, 2025 in the name of Mr.Alaba Adedoyin with an alleged forged signature suggesting the name of Mr.Solomon Adewakun Ojomo as the kingmaker representing Ojomo family as against the position taken by the family.
The Ojomo family alleged some officials of Ose local government that are working behind the scene in conjunction with some interested contenders for the Olute vacant stool as the authors and sponsors of the alleged fake letter.
The Ojomo family therefore appealed to government to avoid installation of the next Olute of Ute land on any act of illegality as Mr. Alaba Adedoyin remains the appointed and recognized warrant chief appointed by the Ojomo family in the absence of a substantive Chief Ojomo of Ute land.
