Ondo Central Senatorial Aspirant, Agbaka Afolabi Obasuyi Assures Less Privileged Of Adequate Representation

In continuation of his consultations with stakeholders, the Ondo Central Senatorial hopeful, Agbaka Afolabi Obasuyi, the Agbaka of Alagbaka has assured widows and Persons With Disabilities ( PWDs) of a place in his representation as their interest will be well protected when he emerges the senator representing the district come 2023.
Agbaka Obasuyi who was playing host to some widows and PWDs at his palace in Akure said the task of effecting positive change in the life of a people and the land requires a qualified and exposed representative while deploying legislative approach.
The senatorial hopeful who said the interest of women as well as other vulnerable groups will be prioritized noted that all forms of discrimination against them would be discouraged while legislations that would promote their interests would be championed.
While also calling on the good people of Ondo Central Senatorial district believe in his ability to represent their interest at the upper chamber of the National Assembly come 2023, Agbaka Obasuyi said support for his candidacy would be a right step towards attaining the vision for a functional constituency.
In his usual characteristic, the Senatorial aspirant distributed palliative items to the widows and Persons Living with Disabilities as a mark of cushioning the effect of the economy as they prepare for the Easter celebration.
The Agbaka of Alagbaka described the distribution as his token to emphasize his consciousness that their welfare remains a priority, assuring that his emergence as Senator representing Info Central would provide a larger platform to improve on what he had been carrying out.
Reacting on behalf of the guests, Mrs Rebecca Adekunle said “it was a great honour and privilege to be recognised by the aspirant, more so that the presentation of palliative items had been a usual exercise”.
Mrs. Adekunle assured that they would work together with all relevant stakeholders to enlighten the electorate on the potential benefits when Agbaka Obasuyi becomes the distinguished Senator representing Ondo Central.
