ONDO OBAS HAIL AIYEDATIWA’S DEVELOPMENTAL EFFORTS IN 100 DAYS
…Say election tribunal verdicts affirmation of legitimacy of people’s mandate
Traditional authorities in Ondo State have felicitated the Governor of Ondo State, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on the occasion of his 100 days in office.
This was contained in a statement personally signed by the Chairman of Ondo State Council of Obas, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye, the Olowo of Owo and made available to newsmen in Akure.
In his words, “the Ondo State Council of Obas and by inference, all Obas in Ondo State congratulate our performing Governor, His Excellency, (Dr.) Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his 100 days in Office and victory at the Ondo State Governorship Election Tribunal”.
“Your Excellency, in just 100 days you have touched positively every sphere of human endeavours. You hit the ground running immediately you assumed office and your achievements in just 100 days are unprecedented in the eyes of the people”.
“Your signature in Education, Health, Infrastructure, Agriculture among others are quite impressive”.
“Particularly, we note your support for the Traditional Institution in the State with your approval of 5% of the Local Government Federal Allocation that we agitated for over the years, as well as the completion/ commission of the Obas Secretariat for use, among others*.
“We are proud of you Mr. Governor as you have not disappointed us. We do not expect less from you anyway, considering your determination and truthfulness in governance”.
“Our prayer is that the sky shall not be your limit, but your stepping stone to greater heights”.
“Congratulations also on your victory at the Election Tribunal. This is an affirmation of the legitimacy of the mandate given you by the good people of the Sunshine State”.
“We pray it shall be victory galore on all sides for you and your winning team”.
“Be assured of the unwavering support of all Obas in Ondo State in achieving your mandate Mr. Governor, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye added.
