ONDO WORKERS KICK-START SENIOR MANAGEMENT PROMOTION EXERCISE
…As Head of Service, Bayo Philip assures of timely conclusion of process
Workers in Public Service of Ondo State who are eligible for the year 2025 promotion within the management cadre today commenced appearing for interview with the Senior Management Committee, SMC, headed by the Head of Service, Bayo Philip.
Addressing the candidates at the commencement of panel’s sitting in the Governor’s Office, Akure, the Head of Service charged participants to adhere to ethical practices and present themselves promotable throughout the exercise.
According to him, the present administration in the state had always prioritised timely promotion and other welfare packages for workers which require reciprocation by workers through their commitment to duties among other things.
He noted that the state is one among few states in the federation where promotion is effected as and when due with the accompanying financial benefits, thanking Gov. Aiyedatiwa for the feat so far achieved in the area of regular promotion and workers’ welfare.
It would be recalled that the 2025 promotion exercise for over three thousand workers across the state public service was earlier flagged off in May this year while about two thousand are expected to face the Senior Management Committee, SMC.
