TI OMO ENÍ BA DÁRA… By: Allen Sowore, Esq
I had considered using the Yoruba adage “Ti Egun Ení Ba Jo Dada… Ara Ma Yani,” but I’ll opt for the simpler version—”Ti Omo Ení Ba Dàra.”
When you lead a masquerade to the village square and it performs well, it is a source of pride. Some might accuse me of promoting African religion, but the point is that I’ve seen what a Member of the House of Representatives, who represents Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency, Omo’ba Okunjimi Odimayo, has done for farmers in his constituency.
Omo’ba Okunjimi Odimayo has distributed fertilizers to farmers throughout the constituency. This initiative, he explains, aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which emphasizes agricultural development as a key aspect of Nigeria’s economic growth. This is commendable!
Odimayo’s initiative aims to support local farmers by increasing crop yields to enhance food production. In times like these, providing fertilizers is a crucial strategy to improve agricultural practices and ensure that farmers have the resources they need to succeed.
I must be honest. Since his inauguration as a Member of the House of Representatives, I have observed Omo’ba Okunjimi Odimayo and must commend his efforts. Although he is from Irele and not Ilaje/Ese-Odo, where I come from, the fact remains that when a masquerade performs well, it leaves an impression. “Bi Egun Ení Ba Jo Re, Ori A Ma Ya Atokun Re.”
I congratulate the good people of Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency. The representative you sent to the Three Arm Zone in Abuja is performing admirably.
