ALUMNI PRESIDENT DARE DARAMOLA COMMENDS OYEBANJI’S GIANT STRIDES IN EKITI
…Urges residents to support Governor for another term to consolidate on achievements being recorded
The National President of Mary Hills Boys High School, Ado-Ekiti Alumni Association, Mr. Dare Daramola has acknowledged the various interventions carried out by Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji since assumption of office.
Daramola who made his view public in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti said Governor Oyebanji has succeeded in rekindling the hope of the people in a democratic existence.
While reflecting on the impact of making the common man the key point of his administration, Daramola commended the payment of outstanding gratuities of retired public servants which he said had become a reference point in the country.
In his words, “as at today, our listening and proactive Governor has committed not less than 10billion naira to payment of pension and gratuities”.
“Now imagine if previous administrations had been showing similar commitments to the sector, by now, Governor Oyebanji would be working on other sectors of the economy on a larger scale”.
Daramola also stated that the rate of infrastructural interventions across the state is a great encouragement and confirmation that the electorate picked the right choice, having expressed confidence in his ability as a public servant whose contributions had been noticed in the governance of the state.
“Anyone who has been coming to Ado-Ekiti in the past and is back in the state would agree with me that the ancient town could be described as the fastest-growing state capital in the country”, Daramola stressed.
The Alumni President admonished the Governor not to relent on his efforts at facilitating good road network across the three senatorial districts of Ekiti State.
Daramola also made reference to the high degree of passion of the Governor for food production which has earned the state the recognition as pilot state for agricultural revolution being championed my the federal government for the southwest states.
This, he said would not only go a long way in providing food for the populace but also engage teeming youths.
While analysing the various impacts of the present administration in the state, Daramola urged residents to keep supporting Governor Oyebanji to continue the good works in the interest of the generality of the people of Ekiti State.
According to him, voting Oyebanji for another term in office would enable him consolidate on the various achievements being recorded in the state.
