METHODIST CHURCH HOLDS COMMENDATION SERVICE FOR LATE OLORI RACHAEL ILORI

The Methodist Church has held a commendation service in honour of a prominent member of the church, Late Olori Rachel Adelubi Ilori at the cathedral Akure the Ondo State capital.
The event had in attendance family, friends from far and near, the clergy and colleagues of the children.
It was a time to reflect on the various contributions of the Olori of Late Oba Adebanji Ilori, Olorin of Orin-Ekiti in Ekiti State.
In his sermon, Zaccheus Orojo described the deceased as a yardstick to measure service to the church and humanity.
While expressing hope that Mama is already a triumphant, the cleric urged humans to always remember their last day on earth when dealing with anyone that comes across them.
Orojo emphasized that people should always appreciate God while alive, saying death is an inevitable end of all.
Addressing the gathering, the first son of the deceased, Prince(Barrister) Olusegun Ilori expressed joy that the contributions of his mother are noticed not only in the church but the society at large.
He appreciated the church for honouring her departed mother and assured that the family would continue from where she stopped.
