EKITI 2026: PARTY MEMBERS TOSSING LOAVES AT RESIDENTS FROM CAMPAIGN TRUCK SPARKS REACTIONS
A video where APC members were tossing loaves of bread at residents in Ekiti State has continued to spark reactions.
The video showed party members in a branded game campaign truck as they threw the loaves at residents.
The response of the residents who struggled to get theirs has been described as dehumanising.
While some hinged the situation on the poor economy, others condemned the act with a knock on the party and the actors for reducing Ekiti people to such a level in the name of election.
Nigerians wondered how there could be a credible election when such could be witnessed on the eve of the poll.
“It is not only sad but also pathetic as politicians have been taking advantage of the level of hunger in the land to liken people to domestic animals”, a Facebook user lamented.
