The Ondo Central Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti has hailed the electoral victory of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in the just concluded governorship poll.
The immediate past Secretary to Ondo State Government described the outcome of the election as a true reflection of the decision of the people.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Akure, Dr. Fasoranti stated that the incumbent, Biodun Oyebanji has convinced the people that he means well and determined to take the state to greater heights.
This the medical practitioner said was responsible for the overwhelming support received with a landslide victory at the polls.
In the same vein, the Ondo Central Senatorial Candidate has joined the All Progressives Congress in Ondo South Senatorial District as the party’s candidate, Prof. Dayo Faduyile is declared the winner of the bye-election held on Saturday.
The former Secretary to the state government said the resounding victory reflects the confidence of the people of Ondo South in the APC and its leadership, while reaffirming the party’s dominance in the senatorial district.
Dr. Fasoranti said having Prof Faduyile representing the Southern Senatorial District at the red chamber will compliment the ongoing efforts of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa towards bringing overall development to the area.
Faduyile secured a 68,474 votes out of 70,811 accredited voters, earning an overwhelming mandate from the electorate across the six local government areas of the district.
